Abstract The essence of the term “cyber professionalization” is disclosed and its author’s definition is presented. It is proved that the development of skills in cyberspace plays an important role in the professional training of specialists in the public sphere as subjects of cyber professionalization. The role of professional communities of practices has been studied. The successful experience of the Community of Local Development Practices has been highlighted with the support of the Swiss Ukrainian project “Support for Decentralization in Ukraine” (DESPRO), which is a professional, synergetic, active environment and at the same time a means to solve the problem of the professional development of public servants.
